Malachar (“we”, “our”, “the Service”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account information: Email address, hashed password (managed by Supabase Auth)
  • Chat messages: Stored to provide conversation history. Messages are associated with your account.
  • Payment data: Payment transaction IDs from NOWPayments. We do not store credit card or wallet information.
  • Usage data: Message counts and subscription tier for rate limiting purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
  • To display your conversation history

We do not use your chat content to train AI models. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security (RLS) policies ensuring only you can access your own data. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
  • Venice AI: AI model provider (your messages are sent to generate responses)
  • NOWPayments: Cryptocurrency payment processing
  • Vercel: Application hosting

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Delete your conversations at any time via the chat interface
  • Request full account deletion by contacting us
  • Export your chat data

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Data Retention

Chat messages are retained as long as your account exists. Deleted conversations are permanently removed. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently erased.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
